Infinite Life Success Secrets

I believe that this life is Infinite. I don't mean our life span; we are finite beings, at least physically. What I mean is that our lives are Infinite in their possibilities and the link we have to the Infinite SourceOh no! Not religion!

No, I am not talking religion. What I am talking about is that there is something out there that many do call God, some call the Universe, some call the Cosmos, and still others claim it to be the Inner Self. My purpose here is not to teach religion, but to say that there is more to this life than just our five senses can experience.

Our life is immeasurably greater than we imagine. That being the case, there is much more that we can do for the betterment of each other and ourselves. We can become much more successful if we believe we can be.

Ah, now we get to the success secrets!

Well, not really. The problem today is that everyone wants to sell you their secret on how to get rich, how to get the relationship you want, how to get the house you want, whatever it might be that you want. I said the problem because most of the secrets have been known for thousands of years and so they are no real secrets at all!

I know someone who is very popular right now who will teach you their secret to letting go of harmful thoughts and emotions through a meditative practice. I learned the same basic technique years ago when training to teach yoga. It was the same sort of technique taught by a guy named Patanjali some thousands of years ago. He probably got it from somebody else!

So if there aren't any secrets, what am I supposed to do?

Have faith! Have faith in the Infinite, whatever you believe that to be. Have faith in yourself that you can achieve the object of your desire. Have faith that it will come to reality.

Plan how you expect to accomplish it! Make plans as to how you might get what you want into your life. You plans may be all wrong at first, but without some sort of plan, you will never get anywhere. Don't worry if they are perfect. Let the Infinite help you to perfect them!

Do something! There is no free lunch! There is lunch that is extremely cheap and comes with little effort on your part, but there is no free lunch and it always costs someone. Expect to work for what you want and do so in such a way that you harm no one else. Work with others and try to make sure everyone wins.

Think positively. Each day of your life will have its ups and downs. Take each situation, each occurrence and think about it in such a way that the best comes from it for you and those around you. Negative thinking starts to put the whole thing in the trash.

Is that it?

No. There is a lot more to it, but I think you recognize all these main points. I am sure that you realize that this wisdom, the "success secrets" have been around for a long time!

There is nothing wrong with reading, listening to, and watching motivational speakers and teachers. They help you keep your head above water when the floods come. Use a little skepticism when it comes to buying secrets!
